Nice to have a good sponsor... since Friday evening I have my new bike. And I can use this SRM Professional (though for the moment I have some installation problems).

the paintjob is great and the red arione will fit perfectly.

It's a beautiful bike Casran. Very nice paintjob and parts that is just cool. I think the Boras look really good on that bike, a high profile wheel gives a nice tiuch to most bikes.

Fabulous bike, everything is just right. How does the SC ride comfortwise? I assume the handling is amazing.

The bike is comfortable so far (I did up till now 220km on it). I tried a cobble stone section and it felt ok, more comfortable than my MXM (hard on cobbles when you're not riding at full speed). Steering is really perfect. Stiffness is great. But it will take me more time to find out all about this bike.
It is meant to be a training bike, so sub 8kg isn't that bad. However I will do several races (in preparation of the big races) on it to have some race SRM data.

On the background indeed the yard of my dads house (I'm still a student and living at home in weekends). Early in the morning with the sun peaking through the trees seemed a nice time for a bike photo shoot to me.

Sweet build! What casette are you using on it?

These Bora's have a Record titanium cassette. My other wheels (Neutron) have Chorus cassettes.
Still doubting about the cassette for my LWs... maybe a light alu cassette...

In fact while riding you only notice the two different cranks when you concentrate on it. I'm curious about the red Arione too.

True. That's why I've put these high profile wheels in it: looks even nicer.

About the paintjob. I must say at Merckx' they really do nice paintjobs (and I'm not saying this because I'm sponsored with Merckx bikes); on my MXM as well, everything is painted, no sticker is used on the nude carbon. Great.
I feared about this colour (I couldn't choose the colour and had to take it as it came), but I really like it now the bike is here.

What is your team and what kind of races are you doing here in Belgium?

I ride for WV Eemland, just a clubteam.
I'm not sure what kind of races we'll be doing, probably smaller races for preparation. like in Deurne-Diest and Dworp, maybe you know those.
Later in the season we could be doing some bigger races, i'll let you know when i find out.
