Putting together a cross bike with a Chorus 11 group. Gotta figure out a brake and crank to use with (only have road brakes and standard cranks). Was thinking about using XTR V-Brakes with this setup and was wondering if there was any feedback or guidance as to how I could make this work. As far as a crankset, any 11-speed cross chainrings?

Mini-Vs are more suited for the cable pull in road levers.

Does anyone have input on the Campy cyclocross brakes? Any good?
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

You'd need to use some sort of travel adjuster to use MTB vees with road levers which kinda makes it pointless. If looking at mini-vees, try TRP8.4s as the cable pull is optimised for Campagnolo and SRAM road levers - one of the most powerful rim brakes out there and very easy to set up.

Hello,
I ran XTR V-brakes on my cross bikes for last couple of years with Campag levers and a problem solver

Worked really well, lots of power, much better than Canti's and more mud clearance than Mini-V's
