Thats a very nice bike!! Is that a painted enve fork? or maybe a whiskey fork?
Im thinking bout a cross with discs. Is the reason for you not using any brake cable stops that its designed to be used with hydralics when they become available? Or just less mud sensitive that way, or why?

Thanks!

It is indeed a painted Enve fork. I wanted the painter to leave the logo visible, but oh well.

The reason I did full length cable housing is both; I am definitely going to switch to hydraulics when they become available (I'm not a fan of how the conversions look) and they also work a bit better in the bad weather; it's singlespeed - going for simplicity.

Awesome. I think it looks better w/o the logo anyway.

I was thinking about how to solve that the other day, to have wire brakes with stops on the tt that could also be used as holders for the hydralics later on. Dident come up with a good solution yet tho :)

Aha! Only that would be a bit backwards. I would like the frame built to take hydralics and have a temp solution for wire and not the other way around. But must be similar solutions out there.

Nice Moots cmh!

Sure, no problem...weight is 18lbs, 1oz with pedals. I'm waiting on an Enve post that's been backorderd for a while but they seem to finally be filling the orders...otherwise it's done. It's a custom geometry and I had it built with canti studs and disc tabs on purpose. I wasn't sure that I'd stick with mech discs but so far so good. I also wanted some low gearing since I have some pretty steep stuff around here...the KEdge works great with Di2.

Thought you guys might be interested in my new cx bike. It is a late 1970's Colnago, built for and ridden by Roger de Vlaeminck. It is equipped with all kinds of cool bits and pieces. More pics and info in this topic: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=105250

Something slightly different. A fixed gear CX with hydraulic front brake.

Very simple bike with extremely low maintenance needs. Haven't weighed it but I'm guessing around 8.5kg. Definitely not the fastest machine around but in my mind it one of the funniest rides.
