That's 'cross is great!
Wow! Welcome to the forum.
I'd personally toss a black HS on the CX bike. The silver one is bulky looking. Also curious what it would look like with a carbon fork. Regardless, would love to get that bike dirty!

In autumn 2010 I crashed with my Kona Jake the Snake and broke my left collarbone – so the cross season ended before it really started.
During my recover I saw in a magazine a review about some cyclocross and big surprise the best one was the one from GEBLA – Georg Blaschke, an German framebuilder. http://www.gebla.de/indexD.html
As my JtS was anyway a bit too large for me and I was very happy with my cubano it decided to build up a disc crosser together with Georg – I also did not visit him in his shop for design, just emails and some phone calls. Meanwhile I met Georg twice and enjoyed it very much!
During the build of my frame Georg did a very detailed documentation of all working steps, more pics can be found here: http://fotos.rennrad-news.de/s/8226
GEBLA steel frame and fork (Zona and XCR chain stays), paint schema from an IF raod bike
SRAM Force
Rotor Agilis crank
Rotor post and stem
Zipp SLC TB bar
Tektro Lyra disc brakes
Novatec/DT wheel set
