Hi, Im Karl from Wachau, Austria.

To design and build bikes is for me as much important as riding!

This are my bikes:

Wow! Welcome to the forum.

I'd personally toss a black HS on the CX bike. The silver one is bulky looking. Also curious what it would look like with a carbon fork. Regardless, would love to get that bike dirty!

afer 2 years with my LOOK 586 I was searching for something unique and found BAUM. some emails later Jared and I had a very clear pic of how my frame would look like and I placed the order without being in the shop.

In autumn 2010 I crashed with my Kona Jake the Snake and broke my left collarbone – so the cross season ended before it really started.

During my recover I saw in a magazine a review about some cyclocross and big surprise the best one was the one from GEBLA – Georg Blaschke, an German framebuilder. http://www.gebla.de/indexD.html

As my JtS was anyway a bit too large for me and I was very happy with my cubano it decided to build up a disc crosser together with Georg – I also did not visit him in his shop for design, just emails and some phone calls. Meanwhile I met Georg twice and enjoyed it very much!

During the build of my frame Georg did a very detailed documentation of all working steps, more pics can be found here: http://fotos.rennrad-news.de/s/8226

As I own now a titanium from Australia and a steel from Europa I thought an aluminum bike from America would fit perfect into my collection. The question was just which type of?

Some research later I contacted Dave Tiemeyer to build a timetrail frame for me, again no visit in his shop, completely build on my spezification. http://www.tiemeyercycles.com/

Damn, you have some nice bikes! Personally I am not a big fan Baum, but the other two custom bikes are really sweet, especially the cx bike. All you need now is some more custom parts on the bikes

Love the bikes, especially the crossbike. But man, judging from the pictures, you've got a serious 'backyard' to play in...
