squealing firecrest 303s - any ideas i haven't tried yet?

the play is within the specs from zip, but I will try tightening the hub a wee bit and see if that helps. good idea!

Try some gooey pads , you can get them on ebay , they are the best clincher pads I have used. They are very grippy and quiet . Clean rims gooey pads = no noise

Reviving this thread, I'm curious if tightening the hub did anything. With 202 FC clinchers I'm having squealing with Tangentes on Planet X ultralight brakes on a Cervelo RS. Toe-in hasn't helped.

nope...ended up selling them and going back to aluminum clinchers. loved the ride of them, but i think it was the combination of that particular frame and the wheels in my case.
