Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

The geometry of the frame again here:

Tup tube: 556 mm
Head tube: 158 mm (between headset cups)
Seat tube: 592 mm (center of BB to top - seat clamp included); 580 mm (center of BB to underside of the seat clamp)

It very much looks like really is 58, yeah.

The red P for the traditional frame should be 57, mine is 58. Everything else is as size 57.

Well, I think it is settled. The frame is basically a 58. It might have a shorter top tube, assuming the top tube was measured right (which is tough to do).

The head tube measure isn't all that odd, because Colnago headtubes were shorter up until about 2006. My 2005 Extreme-C is a 57cm frame but has a 15 cm head tube. Vintage or vintage style frames like the Master are even shorter in the same size.

I still sometimes think that the sadlle is too low for this frame, when looking at it from different angle. But sometimes I think its perfect! :D
Stem is 110 mm. Sadlle height 75 cm. Seat tube center to top: 59

Looks like you have a 58

I have similar measurements as you, I am 1.80 and my saddle height is 74.5 as I have relatively short legs.

I ride a 56cm C50 with a 120mm stem, seatpin lenght including saddle is 17cm.

my Extreme Power is a 54cm with a 130mm stem, setup identically and the seatpin lenght is 19cm.

my stems are -6° though.

The EP feels faster and nimble, but the C50 is more stable and comfortable. I did tried a 57 and a 58 on a 110 stem but they felt sluggish in comparison to the other 2.

But if it would be a standard 58, it would have 56,5 cm top tube ;)

Sorry, initially posted this in the Colnago Pics thread... this is a better place for it.

Damjan, You'll probably never know for sure why your bike doesn't perfectly match up to any Colnago standard geometries. If your measurements are correct, it is closer to a 57 than a 58, with that one glaring exception of the longer seat tube, which does absolutley nothing to change the handling, fit, etc. So I have no idea why anyone would intentionally order just that one change. Perhaps they just built up a 57 with 58 seat tube by mistake. Mistakes do happen after all. Don't know.

But just due to the psycological havoc this whole issue is wreaking on you, maybe it's time to treat yourself to nice new matte black bike, tan sidewalls, and find yourself a girlfriend just like the one walking with that beautiful L'Eroica frame in the other thread.

Hi Salsalover, what handlebars do you use on both bikes? Also, do you run Campy and setback seatposts?

I use 3T Rotundos, and full Campagnolo 11, setposts are the Colnagos so I think it is 25mm ?

I will take better pictures tomorrow and post them
