!! I have not thought about it, was going to leave anyway, but since there is such a possibility, it costs nothing to send an email to Bont. But I confess that I have no idea how to change that. I can not even unscrew to remove the cleat.
Today I did the first test, 117 km! During the first km I felt a discomfort in the heel but my frenzy made me endure to the end. When I got home, I was looking at the damage:
I hope this does not turn a 'calcanhar de maracuja'.
Despite this problem, the shoes are awesome! Very stiff and moves really well the power to the pedals, especially when pedaling standing. I had no problem with ventilation, even riding in the hot sun here in Brazil. The tightening of the buckle is efficient, fixing the foot down and back, but the velcro does no effect, the shoes are so hard that velcro can not close as it should, I can lift the toes (is it anyway?) , therefore i suspect that the shoes are a bit big for me and so I think that the heat molding does not solve (or am I mistaken?). I'm used to the Sidis (tighter in front) and so I'm lost on whether is great.
The molding in the oven can be done with cleats? With this problem of 'screw thread infinite' i can not remove it.
The part of the heel left me disappointed. I want to use Bont in the long rides. Tomorrow I will test with thick socks, if continues to hurt me, I will try to mold them and, if not solve, maybe I buy a smaller size ... or abandon.
