My 2012 Focus Izalco
I'm a student, my previous bike was a 2005 Giant TCR with Ultegra/Force. I originally bought this bike when I was working in a bike shop and instantly sold the SRAM Force that came on the bike as wheel as the wheels (DT Swiss R 1850s). I always planned to replace the entire spec list basically for something different and as a fun project and I think it's mostly got to a point where I am happy with it, probably the only thing that is really still itching me is the pedals (Shimano 105).
I do enjoy a matte black bike, I know some people will find it pretty cliche at the moment and probably a bit boring, although I bought a black frame for a reason
Hope you enjoy it.
Campagnolo Record 11
Ambrosio Crono F20 on Tune Mag 170/Mig70 & Fulcrum 5's
Veloflex Criterium
Fizik Arione CX
Deda Seatpost/stem

There are not enough tan side wall tyres in the world either.

Wow!
Please, make some better quality pictures of oyur bike!
I am wondering if a matte black botllecage would look better

Matte Black Cage for sure and pedal's that match a bit better. Black Speedplays would go great otherwise either of the Shimano carbon pedals I think would work visually
Looks like I made a new 90 Proof friend
Arundel makes a Mandible cage in matte black. Would go perfectly.

Hey there, wondering on the weight of that wheelset, very tempted to ditch the carbons for some alu tubulars for racing next year
great looking classy bike. any chance of a ride report?
Black Speedplay Zeros are definitely on their way!
I think the elite cage doesn't stand out as much in real life, the white highlight kind of matches the crank arms graphics, however the arundle would most definitely look neater.
The wheelset can you believe was not weighed before I glued the tubs. Pretty much because I don't easily have access to a scale! Ha. But my calculations put them roughly in the low 1300 g range. Not bad for $650 aud. Plus I love the classic look!
Ride report I'm not sure I'd be qualified to say much as my only real reference is a couple of races on a borrowed caad 10 and old TCR (really not much of a bike! )
