Are Specialized selling the frame+fork in the USA? Seems loads of people on here buying these and CAAD10's and the only way to get either in the UK is to buy a complete bike and strip the parts off. The only comparable frame I can see is the Canyon, and that doesn't really do it for me.

Very nice! Cheers to the big S for going this route (though their eight millions SKUs has always baffled me -- I'm aware of the hypocrisy here).

Makes me want to go find my old Lapierre 971 Scandium. Loved that bike and raced the hell out of it.

For those of you who have posted weights of the 2013 Allez frameset -- are you guys measuring with or without (upper and lower) headset bearings installed in the headtube?

For a 56 cm 2012 Allez frameset, I measured 1470 g with headset installed and with BB30 adapters installed (the stock ones for conversion to a Shimano crank) and 420 g for the fork (cut for a stem and a single 10 mm spacer).

For those who have built up the '13 Allez Race: what are you impressions so far?

Comfortable? Good in corners? Descents? Any regrets?

@Mosslcon
I've only put around ~200 miles on mine so far.
I really like it so far, similar in comfort to Tarmac sl3's I've ridden (largely due to the narrow seatpost that sticks a foot out of the frame)
The rear end of the bike is not as stiff, but definitely not a noodle.
I personally find that it handles very well, as it should, the geometry is the same as the Tarmac.
I currently have mine set up fixed-gear, so if it was a flexy frame, I would have a major problem with that :lol:

Anyone got a delivery date on a 2013 S-works Venge Di2?

The wait is killing me, although I suspect I'll have to wait to Jan/feb, getting a new bike in the middle of winter is always fun.

Newb here, well kind of oldschool actually, it's been so long (like 2005) I don't even recall my login. Anyway, I searched the forum but I don't see any mention elsewhere, Specialized confirmed a couple of weeks ago that they are indeed releasing the rumored Boonen S-Works Venge frame and the Vino S-Works Olympic Tarmac frame in orange, 50 of each headed to the US, 200 worldwide.
Boonen Venge gets a custom, obnoxious, and awesome Flanders saddle and Prevail helmet.....

Here's my saddle with our shop's autographed jersey....
