These are the first shots of my new Wilier Cento 1 SR.

I know there are a few spacers on the steerer/stem. What can I say...., I'm still fairly limber for 44, but there's no way I could slam the stem with a 17cm headtube! I'll keep stretching.... :D

Quick build list:

Frame: Wilier Cento 1 SR Matte Black/ Red XL
Saddle: San Marco Mantra (great saddle)
Group: Camagnolo Super Record EPS Group
Cassette: 12-27
Wheels: Shown - Easton Ec90 slx clincher
Pedals: Look Keo
Bars: 3T Ergosum Carbon
Stem: 3T ARX Team (red matches well)

Weight is about 15.5 for now. Climbing wheels are Campagnolo Hyperons. Will post those later.

Bike is awesome. I have a Cento Uno too. New Cento is stiffer and more direct. Still comfortable. Great improvement on a legendary bike..

So, what do you think?

Joel

Cool! Do you have a weight for the frame?

I'll tell you what I think about it when you attach much larger pictures of it. (It's great, I just wanna ogle at the details)

As for the graphics, I'm not a huge fan of them either but they do grow on you. Wilier USA is only bringing in 2 colors for now - Matte Black and Red and Red. Not a red fan, but my LBS made me a screaming deal if I ordered a stock color instead of a custom color (6 month wait)....I'm not that patient......

I'll try and post larger pictures (original tried but the size limit kicked in). The bike does look awesome in person.....naked carbon is very cool looking.

Not really a fan of the Matte Black (haven't see it in person though). Like the White/Red scheme. F*cking love the Fluo Green. Ordered one back in July. Hopefully that's early enough that it doesn't take six months!

Swung by my LBS, they had just gotten two frames in stock.

M - Red - 1220g frame, 420g uncut fork
XL - Nude - 1230g frame, ??? fork

Photos here: viewtopic.php?p=918596#p918596

The nude frame does look much better in person. The red is really fantastic though. They did not skimp on the paint!

No ETA on my flou green frame. :(

That wilier looks outstanding. There is something about Mantra saddles that look awesome on racey bikes. I also love the graphics. The Line on the Stem is slightly incongruous with the rest of the bike. The "Tron-ish" look is well executed, perhaps an imrovement of Movistar/pinarello's aesthetic. I don't think it could be cooler.
Wonderful build.

I love the Mantra. I think it is the bet of the San Marco saddles. The arrow nose takes a getting used to but very comfortable.

Thanks for the compliments.
