Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed ✔ FIXED
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken ✔ FIXED
- Avatars cannot be uploaded ✔ FIXED

Please note that we will soon do some changes in WW board template design in case to get a fully mobile/desktop responsiveness board!

Nope, no change. Spot on 22mm (according ty my measurements)

Unfortunately don't have a precise enough scale to weigh the skewers,
(damn it, every cyclist should have a digital scale to weigh skewers and other stuff... what's wrong with me LOL)

For example Boras.

Lighter - yes about 140g lighter than C24s
Stiffer - yes
More aero - yes
Better handling - yes, they are tubs
Safer - yes, they are tubs.

Marginally tougher hubs IME also.

Are you seriously comparing a £2000 pair of wheels to a pair less than half the price? FFS!! Like comparing a Ferrari 458 to a VW Golf R32. Both are quick but one ain't all that hot on the school run or for nipping to Tescos!

Best thing to do is just ignore him and he'll go away.

What is different about the skewers? I have both 7850 and 7900 C24 wheels. The 7850 came with silver skewers and the 7900 came with black skewers. They are not really any lighter.

7850 to 7900 the hubs are different. The front and rear both have a noticably larger body diameter.
Red nipples on 7850 and black on 7900.
7900 wheels were marginally heavier then the 7850 wheels.
7900 wheel 632F 815R = 1447g
7850 wheel 613F 821R =1434g

As far as width, measured at the brake track they are 20 to 21 mm wide (outside measure)

First road test - impressive so far.
(Nothing epic, chum creek (cat 3) climb but gentle+Melba descent to test - outside of Melbourne, VIC)

Sturdy feel, good handling, no scary crack or creak noises even on accidental pot holes.
Handle bad country roads well,
Good on the climbs, seem to have good power transfer, relatively low weight of rear wheel (for the price category) helps, especially if you are not a mountain goat... (like in my case)
solid feel on descents with cornering, might have had better areo from a deeper dish,
but a handles side wind well instead (this was a pain with 50mm carbons)

This is just the first test, so we'll see how they last,
(the brand new wheels come with fancy bags, but no spare spokes, that is either a bad thing, or a good thing, who knows) - i've had new sets come with 5 spare spokes, this made we wonder... and of course they started braking and eventually the hub broke - will not mention the brand, I am not about bad-mouthing anything or anyone)

I was under the impression that these were going to be offset drilled rear rims whilst the others were all going triplet. Definitely same rims?

Spare spokes? That would concern me.

I have two sets and never a problem. The 7850s have at least 5000 miles on them and the hubs are smooth as can be and have never been touched.
Spoke tension are pretty much dead on with a tension meter right out of the box.

I've had an interest in these C24 wheels from Shimano though. Has anyone had direct comparison 7950/7900 to the 9000?

Unfortunately never had the pleasure to ride the 7900 series, shame.
Got the 9000 after a series of recommendations of DA C24 as the best allrounders in this price category,
I wish there was someone adding to this thread who actually tested both.
I do have a distinct impression that rolling resistance is much lower than previous few sets of wheels.

(additional 50km test riding on a route I did 20+ times, I was able to beat most sections,
same conditions, same form, same weather etc and not really pushing it too hard... so I guess this is a promising)

I absolutely love the skewers for firm and easy dismantling of front wheel,
I still have not weighed them - I hope that someone online will)
