What about the New Ultimate FWB is listing? Saves some considerable bucks for only a modest weight penalty.

Yh that New ultimate one looks good,

Why is it that my current seat post is measuring 25mm yet no one seems to stock 25mm posts, there either 27.2 or 30+ mm am I measuring the wrong thing?

Are you measuring seatpost diameter or setback? 25 mm is very common for setback. 25.0 mm used to be a common seatpost diameter back in the '80s and into the '90s with alu and carbon frames such as Alan and Vitus, but is not very common anymore with larger diameter frame tubes than back then.

Decide if you need setback or not. That choice alone is worth 40-50 grams.
+1 for omni racer though. Light, cheap, widely available.
