Lovely shots as usual eurperg! I'm just curious - do you use some kind of preset filter in post-processing or more conventional piecemeal post-processing?

Thanks! My post-processing is just choosing the right Instagram filter - usually Amaro or Rise...

Agree on the seatpost. Disagree on the stem being too short. But the handlebar is way too wide, and that concern is not just based on aero considerations.

Waiting for Gerard's answer on this comment.

On another note…Not to state the obvious Gerard, but didn’t you sponsor CSC and Basso? Did you honestly have no clue that the team was rife with doping? I like your blog and generally agree with you but was curious how you would answer this.

Climbed the steepest stretch of paved road I've ever climbed.. My GPS was saying 30% and I would guess the incline is even greater, perhaps close to 40%.

Do you have any idea how steep a 40% grade is? Well, it's 21.8 degrees (21,8 european style), where zero is the horizon and 90 is directly overhead, and 30% grade is 16.7 degrees. 20% grade, which is reasonably steep in its own right, is 11.3 degrees.

Perhaps you can try to make a real measurement of the grade, but I'd be mighty surprised if it's really 40%.
