I've been looking at these bars all over the web and every place i go to lists a different weight all of the time, sometimes differing about 80g!
On 3T's website they say a 42cm bar weighs 326g as do some other sites, whereas many reputable online shops say 260g for the same size.
If it's around 310g for the 40cm then i won't bother and get FSA Wing Pro Compacts instead.
I just don't know who to trust! I had wanted to get these bars in a 40cm, so has anyone bought them and weighed the 40cm bar?

Check the "listings" part of the forum. It says 282 grams for a 2009 Ergonova pro (44 cm).

On a related note, Deda Zero 100's with a similar reach and drop are about 20 grams lighter (never mind Deda's claims)if weight is your angle (and alloy is your primary choice). Deda measures outside-outside, not sure what 3T does (I think center-center if I look at the size ranges, but check!)

Are you sure you are looking at the same bars? You have 3 different models of the 3T Ergonova... Pro (which is an aluminum bar, about 320-330 gr), Team (CF bar, about 200-220 gr) and LTD (CF bar about 190-200 gr).

Yes, 3t=c-c, Deda=o-o.
I'm not erring; the listings on our forum are stating 282 grams for the pro version, which tbh seems like a reasonable wieght. But 3t claims 320, which seems excessive.
I have no idea if the recorded weight or 3T's weight are correct

a review i found on wiggle said someone had bought the 42cm in 2010 and claimed it was 266g. i can't see why 3t would make it heavier for the 2012 edition but you can never be too careful.
No, I am not trying to sell you something.
Reported weights seem pretty consistent... it's just so odd that 3T would overstate the weight with 15%.
And I'm pretty sure 3T never has changed their listed weight, they have been saying for years it weight 326. The uncertainty partly made me pick the Zero 100, that one weighs more than claimed, but the reported weights are at least far under 300 grams

Besides the 3 well known levels of bar, there's also the "ergonova OE", it's aluminum, doesnt say "pro", and has no white horizontal stripe. Its also definitely heavier. Cant say by how much though.

I might just take a chance and email 3t to ask if the 40cm pro after all does weigh as much as an elephant, 260g seems more like it? If things look bad I can always trust fsa, they've sold me some good stuff in the past

Watch out for the paint - white ones will weigh more. My Ergonova team in black & red are about 200g, but the white & red ones I have on the best bike are 220g. Look great with the matching white / red stripe ARX team stem though...
