The one thing I know about the Aeon is it saved a friend from serious head injuries in a crash a couple of weeks ago. The helmet was toast, did it job well. Shame this bloke only had it a couple of weeks.

Happened exactly the same to a guy I know after he bought the Aeon.

Anyway getting back on topic, I do own Aeon and tried the Lazer; you'd buy the Lazer only for the look cause the Aeon is much lighter (almost 100 gramms) and highly probably better ventilation (didnt try it on a hot day).

I tried to wear Aeon about a year ago, but it made me look like a mushroom, though the helmet itself looks quite nice.
I 'm using several helmets, Giro Savant, Kask Protone, Lazer Genesis and I use Genesis most often.
I haven't use Helium but I heard it is similar to Genesis, so I think it might have very nice shape and comfortable fit.
