Ribble Sportive Racing 2011 ~8.8kg

Hello,
This is my 2011 Ribble Sportive Racing. As you can see it is slightly on the porky side and I was hoping to get a few ideas of how to shed some weight.
Spec is as follows:
Full Shimano 105 Groupset (BB30)
Look Keo Pedals
Fulcrum Racing 3 2 way wheelset
Hutchinson Fusion 3 Tyres and a bit of Stans Sealant
Ribble Headset
Ribble/Generic expander plug which seems to weigh a ton.
Ebay Carbon Cages
Specialized Romin 153mm standard
Selcof Seatpost which came on another frame (seems heavy)
ITM Alutech Stem
ITM Alutech Bars
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hutchinson fusion 3s about 312g according to competitive cyclist , get some 200g clinchers and 50g tubes and theres a 100g I guess. Planet x skewers around £20 good bang for buck. Last generation sram red is light and good value at the moment for chainset weight saving. Bars, stem, seatpost also could save weight. depends on how much you want to put into it I guess. My Ribble evo pro carbon built up beautifully with Pro lite bracciano wheels and 3t finishing kit.....

as long as you get the correct SRAM compatible BB for your frame then the SRAM RED chainset will work fine. How are the upgrades coming along? Don't forget some lighter tubes e.g conti supersonic , that will save c.50g per wheel easily
Upgrades are planned for the winter as I am currently building up the wifes bike. I am going to go for full sram red and switch the 105 stuff to my commuter (CAAD8) and pop on some yinshun 50 mm matt tubular wheels. I also need a headset with a shorter cap but am not sure what to go for.
When I take it off the road for the winter I will strip it down and weigh it all to work out where all the weight is!
Cheers

I have been using niro glide sets on my MTB and road (MTB for gears and Road for brakes and gears). There are aluminium housing and are more prone to be bent but the no problems at all yet.
They have them at the rip-off price

I found mine for like 1$ per meter
As far I remember, they can be red, white, blue and black.

id be honest & say ride the hell out of this beast but no matter what you do you will be hankering after something else more akin to a stereotypical ww frame etc
you could chip away a kg on this but that money could have you 3/4 way to a really nice bike ...
just mho ..
