are there any out there in a 34.9 that are less than 150 grams that are strong enough for mtb racing

KCNC ti pro lite is quite light and they make a 34.9 seatpost

+1 - I have this exact model on my Scale 29'er - and they offer a zero offset :thumbup:

good seatpost weight wise but not so carbon rail friendly :)

another +1 for the KCNC, I added in the carbon rail friendly top clamp and cradle used on the carbonccyles.cc seatposts, it costs £10 from them:
