That's a no brainer CAAD 10.

The CAAD is fantastic, blows the other two out of the water from experience

The best deal is a sponsored rider's current year bike he/she is looking to sell at the end of the year, because he/she gets new bikes every season. Look for one of those. I've seen very very nice bikes with for sale signs posted at the local races.

When I saw the thread title I immediately thought CAAD9. If you can afford the 10 then I wouldn't hesitate.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Specialized.

I had an old aluminum S-Works E5 frameset and it was an awesome race bike. It was better than the Caad 9 that replaced it (I broke the S-Works.)

Have you broken the CAAD that has replaced it yet? ;)

It's not on your list but how about having a look at the Planet-X Team Aluminum frame?

Giant TCR SL alloy.

200g lighter (and better looking) than a caad10 while being a VERY stiff and responsive frame

Unable to find a 10 at a reasonable price and in proper paint I ended up just getting a 9 which is much cheaper.
Frame and fork aren't the lightest but I still ended up at 14.95 lbs which for a 9 is pretty good since it's all standard red parts.

There are some older Ridley alu numbers kicking around. I have a Scandium and it's a great frame, handmade in Belgium, and you can find it for around 300-400 eur from time to time.

Out of interest, whare are you guys getting these frames, CAAD10 and Alez are only available as full bikes in the UK?

Shame as I'd quite like to get a new frame and fork, but the only options are:

Cheep: Kinesis, P-X alu
Chinese: P-X carbon, Ribble
Super high end: Felt F1, SuperSix EVO

There's not many options for a mid-priced frame from one of the big manufacturers, which is a shame as I'd really like something like a standard supersix or Felt F5 if they offered a frame arround £700.
