Really I thought it was when you use point scales to weigh your grease/carbon prep/ti prep syringes before and after a build..
I used 1.2g of the said substances to build my parlee..
Here's a little parlee pOrn for you all

@sugarkane - weighting assembly pastes that's precise & 100% weenie!
@weeracerweenie - I already have a notepad scrawled with weights but i'm such a rookie as they are only manf. weights rather than from scales I personally own!
What's next for me is ....deciding between a Quarq vs. a SRM for my bike (I have both but one's going to have to be sold!). Do I choose function or go for weight alone??

gotta be the SRM...you've already chosen function by having a power meter.
(I'm swinging away from WW towards reliability/durability due to a few bad experiences so YMMV)

Had a theory while out riding today, who thats in Canterbury / CHCH would be interested in a "Weight Weenie Bunch Ride / Socializer"? To bring together light weight classy riders that reside in NZ
I guess there's worse hobbies than making a bike light? Right?

Oh that didn't go well.... Bunch formed around some road cones in the middle of the points race track and the guy in front of me swerved around them. By the time i saw them it was to late and i ploughed into them all at 55kmh (got the data to prove it too). I was told in the ambulance it looked like i had a fractured my ankle badly, i had chunks out of my knees and the guy behind me had two parts to his arm (destroyed his ulna) 7 hours later I hobbled out of the bloody waiting room with a severe sprain and stitches. I can't remember any of it (from breakfast till I woke up on the grass infield) and it was only the second lap of 13
Good news...? Bike is fine, no damage nothing broken at all!

So who did Taupo? To be honest I don't see the big deal with this ride myself, you can't open a copy of NZ Road Cyclist without an article on how to do your best time ever around it - it's like a womans weight magazine with an article each issue on your skinniest year ever or something!
Anyway, who rode and how did you go? Road or Huka Challenge? Give us your stories.

Well i dint do Taupo, but im curious to know peoples saddle choices. Im going off an SLR (tuned of course) onto a standard Romin!
WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE. Adding 50 something grams but comfort wise its outstanding!

fizik antares (00 on the good bike, braided/kium on the others).
btw I'm a bit sick of the specialized marketing machine (specifically in regard to their saddles being the best for 'every' rider)

I worked for a specialised store (until last week) and I got sick of it...! But I have to admit their shoes helmets and saddles are rather nice...
