the barfly mounts it at 90 degrees

Dan, we will have new versions for standard handlebars and aerobars that can be used with the Forerunner 310XT/910XT and the Edge 500/200 very soon. Just follow the news on our website for updates.

Hi Tillquist,

Are you still planning to make your mount available? If not, I might get one of the new Garmin mounts when they are available - but I'd really love to have one of yours!

Thanks,

Cam

Yes, it's still the plan.

Is there a claimed weight on the new mount from Garmin?

So as I previously complained about my RWD mount was loose at the interface with the Garmin. Martyn contacted me about it.
I had one of the original mounts from when he first started making them. I now have the new mount and it is excellent.
The mount itself is stiffer and doesn't vibrate on the road, mind you the old one only did it a little bit and it was not a big deal.
The Garmin interface is great now, so much tighter I love it.

In addition he has eliminated the nut portion and now has the nut integrated into the mount itself.

All in all I still think it is the best mount for weight and position of garmin.
