Advice for a full aluminum full suspension 29'er

Hi everyone,

So, it will probably be warranted, but my wife cracked the carbon seat stay on her Gary Fisher HiFi Pro. Looking to replace it with a full alloy FS frame. Any advice is appreciated.

A couple come to mind- turner, ellsworth. Personally, if a company has a carbon version, its hard for me to justify the aluminum one. Maybe the specialized epic.
Just bc the fisher cracked doesnt mean id write off carbon altogether. I think the fisher has a bit of a reputation for cracks. Specialized epic carbons do not (and if you go with the expert carbon, itll have alu stays). Cannondale scalpel29ers do not (completely different from their 26ers). There are other reputable ones, im sure.

Liv/Giant Anthem 29er. Womens specific design and all alloy construction.

Maybe the Blur LT. It is super pedal efficient and has a great ride quality. I guess it really depends on your terrain and such though.

Another vote for the Anthem X 29er W. Don't know how tall your wife is, but you can get them down to an XS frame size.
