I have a pair of Gaerne shoes that came with the usual throw away insoles that lasted all of a couple of months. I just switched over to my existing Specialized BG Red insoles which are fine until I get to about an hour, Then I get pain in my feet which seems to be due to the insoles being a little too big in the heel area. So I'm looking for a pair of ultra thin insoles to replace them. Alternatively, as the inner sole is leather I wonder if not bothering would be an option?

I use cork that I bought in a roll from a crafts store. Works very well if you have the time to customize them, especially the arch supports. Very light, can be very thin, and they mold themselves.
