Hi
I'm looking for a small slim fitting rain/waterproof jacket, but having trouble finding one, I have a castelli squadra at the moment but still not that slim fit,
I'm after a close fit, none of this excess flapping around, any suggestions?

Has been done, please use Search

I have the same problem. My thinking is that one of the Castelli Gabba long sleeve jacket/jersey things, with a vest on the worst days, could be an interesting combination.

this has me tempted
"water resistant and breathable with a fit that won't flap around"

dane476, I have the Leggero and love it. Perfect backup/emergency piece because it folds down to the size of a hockey puck. Anyway this is not the best jacket to wear when starting out on a longer ride in the rain (especially with cold temperatures), because it's just "water resistant", not "waterproof".

if you want full waterproof, i suggest the castelli sottile jacket, the cut is close fitting and the fabric is slightly stretchy, it's also very light and easy to stash in a pocket (you could fit a few in one pocket)

imho the back could be a bit longer, maybe that's just me as i'm tall, but if it's wet enough to need a waterproof it really doesn't make a lot of difference!

the gabba jerseys are not completely waterproof, but are much more beathable, worth considering if you want an all in one, and they do have a nice long back

Gore Oxygen. Great 'race' fit and properly waterproof
