I was curious about this set-up...anyone on this site run 650b wheels on a 26er? I would be using a Scott Scale 10 and a Sid race fork....would the tires clear the fork and frame? How does it ride?

Will not clear the frame satisfactorily. Tolerances on XC frames are pretty narrow. Scott is coming out with a 650 B or two this year...just wait and buy the new frame.

There is a generic carbon 650b frame available right now. I am tempted.

Anyone knows if a 2010 fox 32 rlc fit 100mm for 26er would fit with 650b wheels?

I'm looking to build 650b wheelset for a 2008 Scalpel 3 (Aluminum Frame Carbon Tail). Anyone do this yet? I have about 1 inch clearance with the Maxxis Maxxlite 310 tires with the lower rear chain stay brace. The lefty fork front looks like it'll clear too.

front is fine. the rear will not clear in the 2008 model scalpel.

Local bike shop guy tried 650b wheels on a Santa Cruz Blur TRC 26" frame. Rear wheel clearance was okay. Front was pretty tight with a Revelation fork - he had to skim the trye to flatten the knobs out a bit. Wouldn't fit with a Reba or SID fork.
