Lovely build but....

Why have you joined your chain the wrong way round? Campag stipulate pushing the pin in from the inside outwards for a very good reason.

I was having a little issue with the pin separating from the back of the pin.. So it was matter of getting it in..
I'm not a novice and it's not the first 11 speed chain i've fitted.
Never had one break on me yet. As long as you set the pin deep enough the chain really doesnt know or care which what around it's running :P

Ah, but it does, hence pushing it through from the back. Campag instruct one to fit it so it is 0.5mm proud of the plates. That way the pin wont impede smooth running as it wont foul the next larger sprocket. If you fit it the way you have you run the rik of the pin being a hair too far out.

That's true, you have to make sure it's seated perfect, that doesn't make a difference which side you set it from its just easier to eye ball it when you set it from the back.
I take the wheel off once I'm at that point so I have plenty of room to get in there.. You'll be happy to know its shifting like a a dream so I musta got it right :P
I'm pretty sure campag don't recommend my chinese chain tool and c spaner method either

I love the cookery book background. Nice glass of Pinot Grigio, while cooking due torque wrench risotto alla chainwhip on an immaculate hob.

Nice bike as well :D

Haha it's a french chardonnay and the torque wrench risotto is the fine Italian effetto variety

Need to update your signature though! ;)

Bike looks ace on the Enve SES. Makes me wonder about going 6.7 instead of 3.4 on my 2nd bike - although I have other plans there too.

I still have and use the sub kilo extralite 45 wheelset.. So the bike is still 5.28 with those wheels..

I can't praise the 6.7s enough.. Such good wheels. Totally BAD looking too!

Your bike is really well sorted. Has given me a couple of good ideas.
How do you find the 6.7's. I'm currently running Edge 1.38 Tubulars which I really like, light and seemingly bulletproof so far. For fast flat events I'm currently using Zipp 404 clinchers, which are ok but a bit on the heavy side.
I've just ordered SRAM Red for my Z5, so the 6.7's would be next on the list.

Hey oz rider, it defantly is pretty sorted
I have 2 wheelsets. The alchemy 6.7s @1420g and the extralite 1.45s @993g
Both awesome but for different reasons..

If you want fast wheels for flattish roads the 6.7s are crazy fast
Not real light though
