the bb is a token and was supposed to go on a ridley helium ('09 bsa threaded), but i made a mistake and bought the mtn version.
i am thinking that it should fit without the plastic middle sleeve, but what do you guys think?
according to the seller the dimension are
68x73mm
can i use gxp mountain bb on my road bike?

I believe you can, but will need to run 2 2.5mm spacers; you can still run the sleeves. The road gxp bbs are wider than the mountain ones.
The nice thing about the GXP system is that if the bolt tightens fully without the bb binding, then you're golden.

yeah it'll run without the sleeve.
The mtb versions run a wider sleeve (usually, can't say for sure on a token) as they are designed to run with 3 spacers (again, usually) whereas road setups are spacer-less. So if you ran a MTB BB (with sleeve) on a road setup it would be too wide. So just take the sleeve out...
Shimano road and MTB cups are very slightly different widths, but it's no problem in practice to use them interchangeably.
