I finally arrived at the perfect saddle recently: http://www.sellesmp.com/smp4bike/en/full-carbon

I know you had the SSM painted to match the bike, but if it's too uncomfortable to ride, it's only good for photos. Perhaps your LBS or Steve Hogg's shop in AUS can let you demo a few of these.

Got bored earlier - what's the verdict on white saddle and bar tape?!:

Suits this bike better than your other one. Looks great really.

Not feeling the crank though sorry. I think this bike deserves something better.

Have always loved your bike - but looking at some Phantom images it seems to be missing a bit of turquoise (maybe a step too far though!).

Looks really great with the white tape/saddle. But it looks so much better with the low profile wheels!

It's been a constant 'battle' of sorts from the moment of inception...

The Rotor 3D+ I had on it originally was great but didn't seem to fit with the rest of the bike, and was only chosen because the Tune Smartfoot wasn't available at the time. The DA7900 crank was only ever an interim measure as I'd sold the Rotor SRM but the Tune was delayed. The Tune Smartfoot looked awesome, but also looked a bit 'skinny' against the tubing - that was exaggerated when the Mad Fibers went on. When I found a set of these "rare as hen's teeth" carbon DA's I couldn't stop myself getting them!

I would like to put something else on there that fits with the style and quality like the Tunes did, but are a bit more 'beefy'. There's nothing else out there that I like at the moment though.

If I can make EPS work on it then it might go full Campag, but I almost like the EEs brakes too much to do that!

Where in Sydney do you ride jsinclair?

No way it's time for the OCD break through..

EPS and classic Clavicula cranks. Embrace the mixed gruppo your bike will look and ride better for it..

I'd love to, especially the newest version. I just can't bring myself to run them on my bike though - they belong on Cannondales and only on Cannondales.

Now if Cannondale were to release them under a 'second brand' (i.e. like Fulcrum are to Campag) I'd be there with bells on!

SiSl's are anodised, right?

Could getting them refinished be an option?

True enough - although I'm sure I read something about them being tricky to refinish because the crank arms are two halves bonded together? Might be imagining that though... :noidea:

No I think your totally right about that.
They should release a non cannondale branded line.. It would be smart and profitable maybe of the EE cranks ever materialize they would match the brakes nicely..
I got some EE brakes I'm a total convert!

Glad to hear it!

Something else that I'd also be keen on is the Rotor 3D+ with more subtle graphics. They did one for Open MTB and they look really nice:
