Just finished up tuning the body of my spare rear derailleur. I cut out a lot of material including the front plate. I also removed the clear coat, drilled and shaved down the stock front and backing plates. They turned out a gram lighter than fibre lyte :) I'll post pictures tomorrow. My aluminum cassette should be here on wed. as well.

I think it looks really good like that, deep rims look brilliant on an M10 and I think shallower rims look better on a C59. Really impressive build.

I wouldn't get the aluminum cassette - I think you will sacrifice performance. Personally, I think it is best to keep the bike functioning at 100% when building an ultralight.

Got the RD down to 155 from 167. I still need to get the fibre lyte pulleys (-14 grams) and the main bolt in aluminum ( -3 grams maybe?)
