I know that Athena EPS is being released for the 2013 model year, does anyone know if there is to be any changes to the Record/Super Record EPS Group in 2013?

I think the only new introductions for the top groups is the new chainring option..
Several online shops have 2013 Campagnolo groups listed already...

My understanding is that the Athena EPS has a different type of wire connection, and that will also be implemented on Record and Super Record. Not a functional difference though.

I think the wire change is only on athena to make sure you can't mix Athena and record.

right, but they also hinted that in the future the top groups would migrate to the newer wiring structure.
Whether that comes to pass who knows.
Perhaps after 2014 when they start making them in Romania instead of Italy.

Rumour has it that Super Record is going Ti only for the chainset.
