Hey all,

I went through a rough time as a starving uni student and had to sell my Madone (listed http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=67453). End up buying a Devinci CX2 and luck would have it that I score my dream job right out of uni just months after selling my Madone. O well!

Here is my Devinci CX2 with Enve 6.7 tubulars. Schwalbe Ultremo HT 700x25 glued up with Vittoria MastikOne.

Total weight as pictured is 18 lbs 5oz. including rear light, bell and computer (the Madone was less than 16lbs  ) Saddle is also being changed to something more sleek and comfortable...

A heavy overall frameset with the 105 groupo contribute to her obeseity... I still love her :)

What do you think? :beerchug:

nice to see some home "local" product!

a lot of weight to be saved with new seatpost/stem/bar/saddle I'd say

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital scale at home and I dont think I'll be unwrapping my bars anytime soon to check the weight of them. Any idea how much the stock V2 (house brand) bars, stem, carbon seatpost and saddle weigh?

I would be replacing with Enve stem/seatpost/bars and a selle italia slr team edition.

No idea of the exact weight but a conservative estimation could look like

Seatpost: 250g
Saddle: 250g
Stem 150g
Bars: 275g

The enve stuff is sure nice etc but wouldnt be a good weight saving alternative. My enve post weights 198g.... Iirc the stem isnt that light

I am all for suggestions then!

Trying to keep it all black (white highlights are ok).
These components will eventually move to a tuxedo styled Ti frame (merlin, moots, if).

I'd look into part of passion, new ultimate, tune or KCNC
