I used to live off of that road. I also race without gloves.

Little hot for me but there is some great riding out there. Photo from the drive to the start:

You know you're in trouble when the race course has wind turbines all over it.

Another crash on the same bend on the final lap stopped me contesting the sprint. Probably a good thing as a bent dérailleur hanger meant i only had one working gear.

About a month ago. It was wet and cold but the handlebar tache helped ;-).

Rule #7 // Tan lines should be cultivated and kept razor sharp.
Under no circumstances should one be rolling up their sleeves or shorts in an effort to somehow diminish one’s tan lines. Sleeveless jerseys are under no circumstances to be employed.

Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.
If it’s preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run, it is not called a bike race, it is called duathlon or a triathlon. Neither of which is a bike race. Also keep in mind that one should only swim in order to prevent drowning, and should only run if being chased. And even then, one should only run fast enough to prevent capture.

kermesse race in Lennik (Belgium), with some climbs and unusually hot weather for these parts! Ended just outside the prizes...

Criterium in Nashville. Faded on the last lap. I'm in the middle.
