Looks very like a BMC but nice looking bike and apparently stiffer than a Cervélo R5.

Quite expensive though.

The price for the framset is very disappointing.
Sure it compares to other "famous brands" but I appreciated Neil Pryde's pricing on their Alize and Diablo framsets.
This one is far more expensive by comparison.

Disappointed that it's now at the bottom of my short list because of the proposed asking price.

I am increasingly interested in Neil Pryde frames. Like the product... but that is indeed a nice chunk of change for the frame...
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

The price is a bit up there. the size of those chain-stays are monstrous. its light and simple.

i like the cable for the rear brake, just wish it had internal cables for shifting.

IMHO frames of this weight and stiffness costing around 3000-35000 USD are the future standard.

From your keyboard to their screen.

i hope to see more bike frames like this in the 3000-3500 price range. the cannondale evo is. i think the upcoming helium SL is also in this price range and about 780g - qouted. i think as they start to use higher mod. carbon, material cost increase. i do not know what the price difference is in something like hexcel im10 vs toray T1000 (both are IM carbon - IM10 has a higher tensile modulus). i guess material cost isnt as much as tooling and R&D.

from what i gather, the trek madone 7 uses hexcel im10 fiber and for those huge tubes, they produced a frame thats 750g. thats pretty awesome. using this material with a much simpler frame design (round tubes) could get down to the 700g range.

the price is hight, BUT if you look at the competitor in this weight range, almost everyone (from a known manufacture) cost the same or more. or can´t be bought as a frameset (as cannondale supersix evo ultimate)

Just built on up with the Campy Super Record Anniversary group. The bike is gorgeous and 14lbs with powertap and 45mm wheels. The ride is unmatched in my opinion when looking to maximize the weight/stiffness ratio

Get them while they last 50% off at excel sports in boulder Colorado. Just built mine up with super record anniversary group and the ride is unmatched to anything I have ridden!

I rode one. Not exactly a racy fit are they. Compared to my Evo it felt extremely laid back

Had mine since Feb. After about 5300 miles, no creaking at all. I don't really have anything to complain about w/ the bike at all.

Interesting statement.

I've owned both NP and Cannondale.

Unless you were riding a huge frame or a bad set up bike, the geometry of the two framesets is nigh on identical as is the handling downhill.

The Bura is stiffer, particularly at the front end and the fork is not the most comfortable.

But the fit is identical if your bike shop knows what they are doing.
