Custom frame means he shouldn't need anything more than 10-15mm of spacers, and aesthetically that "sure beats" an upturned stem.

Let's not get into that argument though - let the man put his bike together and show us pics first!

That only is true if he can go into the full racing position (or wants to). You are quite opininated on looks, but the practical side is usually an side issue for you.

A bike is to ride, not an object to look at :wink:

I like a nice steel bike but it's a bit rich to be picking on the stem when we haven't even seen the bike fully built with the rider on the bike... :noidea:

Can we have some details of the frame, re. tubeset and weights for the frame and fork.

Very nice looking frame and I like the colours.

all is well, stem was turned up as to not hit the TT :D. i actually had some pics taken with the stem in the correct position but my buddy only sent me the couple you see.

yes it is bb30

had a little hold up on the build will be a couple of days til its done, cant wait to give it a go
