No. I think they're de-badged (due to Olympic branding rules) CCUs. Mavic are the wheel sponsor for Katusha.

If you look closely you can see that Menchov is on LWs with the logo painted over.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

I noticed one of the other Russian ladies was on LWs, too (she crashed near the end). Maybe they got a nice country discount from Carbon Sports? :)

She was ... She is being living and training here in Cyprus for some time now, i ve seen her during training in winter when i was in Limassol...

And a 24 spoke rear! Afaik Mavic doesn't make those, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree - this was one of the first bikes/set ups that I looked at and thought "Wow!" I love Lightweight wheels and still haven't ridden any other wheels that have the same climbing performance... There just seems to be something incredibly responsive when you accelerate on them, something that I haven't quite found in other high end wheels as of yet.
