Hi All,
My 404 FC wheelset is on repair again.... 6 weeks ago it was the hubs with slack... now a spoke snapped... so again at least 2 weeks no wheels...
Got a spare 15KG wheel.... so can still bike, but...
What if money is no issue and I would like to buy me a 2ns set of wheels... preferable full carbon, not too high rims, top notch.... looks are important, as speed and comfort...
I ride a C59 Italia Matte Black with Campi SR11 and currently ZIPP 404FC.
I am 88KG.
Anty suggestion is welcome!

Oh one more thing; needs to be CLINCHER...
I also looked at the Hyperion Ultra 2 Clinchers. Not sure if Leightweights Ventoux or Gipfelsturm are in Clincher as well? Only see them as Tubes....

Enve 3.4 looks nice but is still a mid size rim... looking for a bit more lower profile.
Anybody knows if the Hyperon are any good for a strong / heavy (88kg) guy? Cant find that on the internet....

Low profile clinchers, prefer carbon fiber, good all-around...and you are on a c-59 with EPS...
Hyperon Ultra Two !!!!!! besides the bearings and hubbody, not much difference than the regular Hyperon One
But you are on a C-59 with EPS...why the hell not?!
Too bad Enve don't make any low-profile clinchers "yet". BTW I was in your situation a while back, and ended up with a pair of Hyperon Ultra Two. Check out Ribble from UK and try a discount code of LONDON10 (i believe ends on july 31st). Regardless, they have the lowest price on Hyperons Two.

Lightweights of course.
BTW, Please stop riding clinchers.
If you want to ride a 20k pro bike please ride proper tubulars on it or the rest of us will be laughing at you when you are not looking.
In truth, you already have deep carbon wheels and do not need another set.
How about a nice set of box section aluminum tubulars that complement your current carbon wheels?

I have had Hyperons and they are a great set of hoops...
I now have the LW Standard C (Meilensteins) which are awesome. If you can live with the slightly higher rim depth then go LW - you won't regret it.
I also used to have the LW Standard tub version and couldn't tell much difference really between the two!!
Lig.

So choice is down to 2 sets....
Still cant find if LW ventoux or gipfelsturm are also as clinches... Sorry, but tubes are too much fuzz for me when punctured during à tour...

Clinchers not tubs imo, tubs just not worth the hassle. Hyperons great low profile wheels, great for climbing, Lightweights also brilliant wheels ....

That's ok, and we clincher users will be laughing at you when we pass you on the side of the road ....
