finally got it together....sits at 18.9 lbs. Not a bad start, want to get it to 17.5 lbs. or so....working on that as we speak!
Feels great on the trails...smooth and very fast. the Sid race is a very plush fork when dialed in

Pat that looks like the perfect machine for this year's E/I race.

well hello matt! I had to break down and build a MTB bike. The cross/MTB mix bike I was using is fast, but killed my back especially with all the ruts at EI! Now i can take all your KOM's out there..LOL

Should be easy with a bike that's 6lbs lighter than my Turner!

You can get a sram xx fd for 38.2 mm seattube - i have it on my Scale. Works good and the weight is 119,5 grams (from my memory).

Mads Kock .....I might do the XX front derailleur. I see there are lots of options, just to be sure....do i need a Top pull? and you can get a High or Low clamp in the top pull....what do I need? thanks!!!

You need toppull high clamp and then 38.2 mm

you have any pics of your Scale with the XX front derailleur? I noticed when looking at my frame there is little piece that sticks out right above the BB that the e-type derailleur uses....did this affect the clamping of the XX derailleur??

No problems - because of the high clamp the band sits higher. Look at my blog - there are pictures of my Scale
