Koen- We are no longer twins Yes I am recovered. That sucked! I need a lower stem than the -10 PRO. Any ideas?
Nice... to get lower you could get a -17 degree stem. Also, don't know how set you are on those bars, but classic shaped bars will allow the levers to sit lower still as well. Those two changes would get you signficantly lower both on tops of the bars and even more so in the hoods than you have now. Personally, I really like having the highest hand position on the top of the bars next to the stem. Then on the hoods (a bit more aggressive) I like to be lower. Then, the lowest of all and most aggressive in the drops, but all accessible and comfortable. What I really don't like is bars tilted up and hoods pointing to the sky, so that your hand position is actually higher on the hoods than it is on the tops of the bars. Conversely, I think it's silly to have such a large saddle to bar drop that you can't even use the drops effectively. Why even have them then. That said, cockpit setup, like saddles is kind of a personal preference thing. Enjoy the new bike.
