Hy friends,
Is somebody have infos about SAPIM carbon rims we can see in Belgian cross ?
Perhaps it is only a sticker on an other carbon rim. I don't know.
I look for strong wheels with carbon rims but not too heavy (1500gr max).
Do you have advices (4za, Corima, custom wheels... etc) ?

Indeed, as tommy says, these wheels are made by Gilbert Cattoir (a very good belgian wheel builder). I believe he uses Corima Aero rims for them, mostly with Edco hubs (owned by Sapim), and puts a Sapim sticker on the rim.
As alternative, I wouldn't personally go for 4ZA wheels. To me they haven't proven to be very reliable, although simon will say they are (our opinions differ on that point).

I have heard mixed opinions about the 4za wheels as well. Rumour goes that Bart Wellens refused to ride them at one point last season because he had so much bad luck with them. But I know others who really like them
I wouldn't risk it.
The corima rims are pretty sturdy and a lot of people use them for cross. I would say it is one of the better rims for cross. A bit heavier but pretty strong for a cf rim. Reynolds should be good as well but I have 0 experience with them so can't really comment on that.

When we look at photos I am not sure Fidea Team use to the standard 4za wheels, cause rims are not always the same we can see in the catalog or shop ! Standard T50 wheels I have also see have very bright rims with a great varnish but when we look at Fidea wheels it looks like more at Corima !
