I plan on buying one of these forks in the future. I know the DT Swiss is light, but I believe they need more service than the Durin SL. Would everyone agree?

I heard that if you buy DT,you have to service him many times. Magura rebound works tragically(slow) on section of small holes, roots. For about 3h in winter on magura durin fork my wrists hurts like after 5 times longer ride. I think the best option is Sid.

Thanks but I want something low weight. Sid's are heavy.

I think, that Sid is like XTR 970 pedals, bit heavier but more durable.Check the picture from down of this page http://www.mtb-news.de/forum/showthread ... 33&page=10 .

I can't comment on the 2012 Durin SL, but the 2010 I have ridden is rather stiff and responsive in a positive way (which is why I bough it - I don't necessarily like the very plush feeling of some of the other brands, I like to feel whats going on on the track).

I'm one of the guilty 145 viewers but I can't comment cos I'm using a carbon rigid fork. :D

Alright then: buy a Lefty! Light and stiff, good performance. However, you will need to do the occasional bearing reset. If coupled with a carbon steer tube (Mattias makes nice ones and is very nice to deal with), you will have a super light setup!
