The Endurdo bearings in the Cervelo R5ca weigh 49 grams. So that leaves you with 672 grams for the frame.

Many of the other frames will require a press fit shell which adds weight.

I think the best way would be to compare frame with bearings, hanger, collar, fork and possibly even headset. But if someone wants naken frame weight there it is at 672 grams.

I forget marketing weights of unpainted frames, talk is cheap.

It could be hard. Primo only small number of people can afford so expensive frames, secundo not every customer who owns one visits WW forum to post weight, tertio try to find an owner of each frame from such a small number of WW members with, let's say, 56cm size frames to compare their (frames') weights. Doable, but difficult I think.

As stated earlier today, I'm a Felt fanboy, and the F1 comes in at 792 per their website.

It would be easier to have an acceptable size range, as many mfg/brands do not offer the same sizes necessarily.
Example: 55,56,57 or "Medium" would be within a range, no?

We don't accept website weights, besides, that's not really anywhere near the lightest frame

I have the Cervelo CA in a 54, and besides its light weight - and cool geometry - the company claims its their strongest frame set ever.

I can vouch for the weight - not the strength - but the thing is super stiff and responsive - it feels like nothing I have ever been on before.

My frame weight was about the same - I think a bit more (few more grams) with the bearings installed - I swapped the SS bearings for ZERO Ceramic.

PS - agree that when comparing frame weight it should be the frame, fork, headset, and complete bottom bracket. In addition to the lighter frame, the Cervelo comes stock with a THM fork (super light), and direct fit BBright - not press fit - no cups - less weight. However, that said, the Cervelo also comes stock with a Cane Creek AER headset - which stinks. I swapped mine for a Cane Creek 110 - same size - real bearing - bottom doesn't change - and have had very good results. The AER uses a fake norglide bearing which in my opinion is a gimmick.

Bike gained about 20 grams -but well worth it.

How about Spin frames? They were among the lightest a few years ago.
