Is Marks & Spencer the only home insurance provider that you get maximum value cycle cover with your home insurance ?

Would you be a little bit more specific to your location/country? This would help the discussion greatly.

Despite using English as the primary language here, this is a very international forum. Many people tend to forget that.

for m&s, presumably this is uk

m&s *was* about the best deal, but they changed terms for new policies so there may be others that are better now

but if you have an original m&s policy, it's excellent

M&S changed it to 1,000 GBP max now unless you specify the bike in the policy and I guess that will pump up the premiums.

I had a bike nicked along with a pair of cosmic carbones - M&S paid out with no fuss, although it did take 2 months due to the bike shop they use (wheelies direct - terrible place, avoid if possible).

M&S won't cover over a certain value, and once you've had the conversation with them about the bikes value they will invalidate ALL of your cover, if the bike is 10K+.

Hiscox on the other hand are much better.
