Well it may be time, no pun intended, to retire my 6 year old Time RXS Ulteam ti pedals. The right pedal is getting very difficult to clip in to it, release is fine. I ride in 4 different shoes and one has new cleats on them and all my shoes have the same difficulty. Any one else have this issue?

Hi,

That's odd as there is no reason (mechanical that is) for this to happen. You did verify the retention spring on the RH pedal?

Ciao, ;)

How many gazillion miles have you ridden on those pedals? I presume these are the same pedals as you recently had Time replace the bearings viewtopic.php?f=14&t=103189&p=879864#p879864 ? Do you think they can do their magic again, but now for a different problem? Maybe you should just suck it up and find a NOS pair or two to buy - perhaps you've already gotten your money's worth out of these pedals.

Same pedals with at least 30,000 miles on them. I need to take a closer look at them before tomorrow's 12 hour race.

I've email Time on this but the part that broke off and it totally missing is the small round bar in front of the latch for the cleat.

Happy ending. Time is sending me the part for both pedals. It turns out the guy I spoke to prefers the RXS pedals too. Order for the I-Clic's canceled. The best part was the parts were no charge!
