Yeah, that doesn't sound right, but I love this new aluminum S-Works. With only 50 it is going to be near impossible to get, but looks awesome. 200g lighter than the previous aluminum Allez, but I don't remember the previous Allez being remotely CAAD light.

I wonder if this will be available as a frame set only.

My ass does not hurt bad enough to ride such a hideous "bent dick" seatpost.

Also... those little wings on the fork and seatstays are quite ugly on such a classy looking frame.

That S-Works allez is stock 14.5lbs. That's awesome. I love aluminum.

Also that Campy EPS Venge is going to be so f-ing expensive.

I think he means sub 1200g frame, not frameset.

Too bad they're only making 50 of the Allez, otherwise it would be a worthy alternative to the ubiquitous CAAD 10.

Nice that they're building alumin(i)um bikes. Only 50 for the world? I assume they're only doing it to meet some UCI requirement that allows them to offer custom bikes to the Pro teams.

They've been producing alumin(i)um bikes for quite some time now, this is just a special edition.

The ugly bike with the wings and odd seatpost in the original link is the Roubaix comfort model. The Allez that the OP is pseaking of is profiled further down the article.
