chian whip for campy 11 sp cassette

so my Park Tool chain whip seems to be a little wide for the campy 11sp spacing, after having lots of trouble getting it to grab I think I bent the cog that I finally got it to grab on...

does anyone have a chain whip that they use on campy 11sp without issue?

just replace that chain on your chain whip with a 10- or 11- speed chain.

hmmmm..... It might be cheaper to buy a new chain whip than to buy a chain just for that? I might have enough extra links lying around to piece one together.

how about Lenzyne? Is the chain on their whip any thinner?

Simply, always use your chain-whip on the largest cog.....no issue. (and not over-tightening the lock-ring is a good start too......actually use a torque wrench, I grimace at the tightness of some install jobs).

I have no problems with old hain whip on campy 11 speed. It may have something to with using the large sproket as already suggested though.

Park Tool now do an 11 speed version of their chain whip, but I think availability is poor on this item in some parts, the UK included.

Yes, you are correct. It was invented by Leonard Zinn and then manufactured by Pedros

Same, I think that the chain on mine is 9 speed.
