Just checked some other picks, damn your right! seems to be working OK, I may swap my Praxis 39 on there since it's 3 grams lighter.

How do you like the new front derailleur? I just ordered one to replace my force derailleur.
I am running the Praxis clover rings.
Did you change over to all new red?
Front derailleur is stellar, as are the shifters, crank and rear cog(I have the 11-26 on my DT's and a 11-28 on my Boyds 24's), the rear derailleur seem no better than the old which is not a bad thing:) I got everything but the brakes as they were to heavy.

Would like to ask Adam of praxis about the Praxis chainring not oriented properly with the crank arm, since the chain catch pin is not behind the arm, will this affect the timing of the shift?
thanks

Well he's using the SRAM inner ring with the Praxis outer ring, so timing would be off no matter what. If I were you, I'd rotate the outer ring so that the catch pin is 180 degrees from the crank arm and use the matching Praxis inner ring.
Sorry to pick on you, it's just that mixing rings is a pet peeve of mine.

Catch pin must be eliminated to use on this crank. Does save one gram:) Not needed with this new Sram stuff anyway from what I can see, shifts are stupid precise.

OK last pic, just swapped the inner ring to the Praxis also, 31g vs 34g for the Sram ring, sorry for the dirty bike:(

Can you confirm how the hidden bolt mount works please - is there a dedicated spacer that fits between the outer and inner rings or some such ?
Many thanks

I would imagine the shifting is not 100% as good as it can be on the new Red crank with praxis rings. The shift in bolt location moves the pins away slightly from the power phase of the stroke. How is it shifting now? Have you used the rings on another crank before. Is it not noticeable?

IMHO the combo of the 39/53 rings shift better and are more quiet than the SRAM, also better looking and much lighter, could not be happier.

Talked to Adam, it was happy to see I was using there rings with the new SRAM Red crank, he mentioned that each set has matched shift ramps and wanted to make sure my shifted smoothly since I had to rotate the rings with this crank, and they shift perfect.
