Finally got back from my Asia trip and now getting around in taking pictures and weighing the parts. It'll be built up with Super Record 11 and with some Lightweight Standard Clinchers for the wheel set.

Impressive weight with the seatpost collar, bottle cage bolts, and even a little piece of paper on your left chainstay :P

Man I didn't realize the rotor crank was that light, I just always figured it was closer to 700 grams!

It's rock solid    I've got one on my 2011 R5 green machine

Yes, it doesn't makes sense to spend $1000 more to get a lighter frame, when you could spend $100 more to save the same weight in the handlebars and similarly but to a lesser extent in the other components. Unless you're planning to upgrade them all that is.

Unless, of course, the OP wanted a bike that if he happened to bin it there would be little or no concern about if the bars were busted? Given he, apparently, races.

To the OP - I'd like to either see this bike built and ridden or you stop with the threads about it. As the previous episodes of introducing it only to drum up support for the sale of it (which I see is now not happening?) is not what this place is about.

Question for you guys..... the frame came with a SRAM bottom bracket. With the Rotor 3D BBRight crank that I have, will that bottom bracket work or do I need to purchase a new one for it? :noidea:

I bet he customized the stem, and if so, well done!

It's a compact crankset. Maybe that's why it's much lighter than you thought? I normally run a 52t at the most because of my bad knee.
