Shiny Bikes question

Shite, I have a 10 day old small parts order with no confirmation of shipping. Guess I got lucky with a Campy Neutron order couple years ago. Will update.
Edit: I request a refund if items are not shipped, and a day later a shipment notice arrives. Inconceivable!

I bought a wheelset back in May and got it delivered within less than a week (3 days for order processing, 3 days for shipping to the US).
Yesterday I bought something else and got a confirmation mail about the order being processed. Let's see how it works out.

To be fair to yongkun the website was down just after he posted.

I've used Shinybikes before. Not the fastest delivery but overall the service was fine.
Recently used Shiny Bikes, and ready to place another order.
Their delivery is slower than Wiggle or Total Cycling, but prices are really good.
Just don't place an order on something you need urgently, and remember to factor in 2-3 weeks delivery and it should all be fine.

Shinybikes are another online store that advertise everything that their suppliers stock, at very good prices, but rarely have anything in stock themselves. Due to their prices I've ordered from them before and items haven't turned up, and I've ended up canceling. They don't even email to tell you the item is on order. I'd rather pay a bit more from a reputable company who show their stock levels like wiggle etc
As Shiny bike are not that far away from me i did when i purchased some Sram stuff go up to see the operation, it (Shiny Bikes) works out of an industrial unit
The Address is Unit 3 Bersham Enterprise Park,Plas Grono Road, Rhostyllen, Wrexham, LL14 4EG
They had when i popped over quite a fair bit in stock, actually very similar to Parker International, and were very VERY busy.
The guy there was helpfull enough, and did say that there were not enough hours in the the day!

Ordered an SR11 rear derailleur to replace one that is faulty and been sent back to Campag, arrived three days later.
Maybe I was lucky but I would condier using them again as they are so much cheaper than competition.
Might also give Comtat a go cos they are not far off on price and see to do load of Campag stuff.

Shinybikes.com Statement:
Apologies to all our customers past and present for the inconvenience and disruption caused to our normal service. This has been caused by un-foreseen problems which were caused during the move to our new premises two weeks ago. This caused a breakdown in our Phone and Broadband but we are now operating as normal from our new larger premises and normal service has now resumed.
Kind Regards
