I just measured my mad fibers, they are over a yr old so I am not sure if newer ones are wider (doubt it) I used a caliper on the top of the brake track and it was 18.57 mm wide for the rear and 18.49 for the front, I have seen them used for cx before but it never occurred to me to check out tire size and brand.

I presume the Wheel 2.0 is is just marketing meaning that Mad Fiber wheels are wheel 2.0 relative to all wheels, not that there is now a 2.0 (significantly revised) version of MadFiber wheel? Correct?https://madfiber.com/ wrote:This is The Wheel 2.0. Revised. Re-envisioned. Reinvented.

I'm pretty sure they mean that madfiber wheels have 'reinvented' the wheel hence wheels 2.0, not that there is a MF 2.0 version. Stickers seem to have turned grey though, not as loud and blend in much nicer. Damn can they just hurry up with the delivery of my pair...

Has anyone with the tubular version put on 25mm tires?

Yup - I run Schwalbe Ultremo HTs in 25c with no issue at all.

From the Calfee Facebook:
I have Enves on our tandem, and I hadn't ever thought about Madfibers as tandem wheels. I guess this is what happens when a manufacturer boasts about not having a weight limit. What do Madfiber aficionados think of Madfibers as tandem wheel, for, say, a 285 lb. tandem team?

The tandem team will likely sub the very heavy adjustable stoker stem for fixed length unit on the heels of delivery. We're very pleased with the ride quality of the bike. The Madfiber wheels, Alligator cables and housing, Di2, CenterTrack belt and eecycles brakes all conspire to impress. Deleted. Not correct section. PP
Ritterview - the tandem is awesome! I'm interested to see how the MFs hold up.
BikeTart - why aren't you using the MFs? Just curious.
As for mine, I've been riding them for 3 months and like them more everyday. So far, zero issues and I'm very happy with their performance.

No particular reason for not using mine - a combination of being too lazy to bother changing them and actually quite liking using my Ambrosios on a daily basis, therefore not really feeling the need to change them.
I'm selling because I'd rather free up the funds for other purposes - ad in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Unless you have the current version they'll be redundant, sorry.
