Did you have the chance to weigh the 130mm spider that comes stock with the bike?

I saw one in a shop, also 56, and the guy there said it weighted 5,5kg (12,1 lbs). BTW, Ive seem many people complaining about the heavy paint on the blk/wte evo, and I complained about mine as well, but after riding it for a while now, Im quite happy, since it appears to be sooo scratch resistant! I had a white caad9 and it had many more scratches from road debris, on the evo I still cant find any. wondering if the ultimate with its superlight paint will be so resistant as well, would be a shame to see such a nice frame with spots after a couple of rides only..
if you are asking me, no. I disassembled the bike that was pretty much built out of the box. With my Dura-ace C24 wheels instead of the tubulars I should come in around 13 lbs. There is a pound difference between the wheelsets so that agrees with your numbers at 12.1lbs.
I'm sorry to inform you, the UCI says you need to add 3lbs to the weight to ride it!!! That is crazy. My LBS is a CDale dealer, with the heavy ass alum wheels and all Red setup, it weighed like 14.2lbs on the floor. With some different wheels and a few other parts, 13lbs and below is easy. Kind of crazy to think that they made a frame that light and it is standing up to major abuse by some pro riders, like Sagan.

Sagan rides a custom mold, so who knows what kind of layup the pros are riding.

Luca79,
No because it was assembled with rings already when I removed it, saw no point in disassembling it. I'd be happy to weigh it with the 53/39 MK V rings on it if you like. 171g
I am sure the 130 spider weight has to be on this site.

No way it is 499g.
Come on now, what was the real weight?
